Salini Impregilo supports many public and private clients in developing hydroelectric plants that can produce renewable and dependable energy at lower prices compared to other sources. The International Energy Agency (IEA) expects that the installed hydroelectric capacity will continue to grow reaching 2,000 GW by 2050, therefore avoiding the yearly production of 3 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions from fossil fuel usage.
