More than 90% of atmospheric pollution in cities around the world is caused by vehicle emissions. Mobility infrastructure does not just facilitate the circulation of people and goods. It also allows "weaker" urban populations, who normally live in the city's outskirts, to have access to schooling, job opportunities and social services.
